OPEN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN COMPETITION for the Design of “Landmark Monument: Celebrating 100 Years of the University of Dhaka and Golden Jubilee of Independence of Bangladesh” at Mall Area, University of Dhaka. This is a Single-staged National Anonymous architectural design competition organized by the University of Dhaka in association with Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB).

This competition is organized to create a minimalistic, iconic and instant image that represents University of Dhaka for generating new and integrating knowledge, revolution, Liberism, Democratic values, Secularism, Unity and Sacrifice over its 100 years’ period of existence. Also to uphold the contribution of University of Dhaka during the period of language movement in 1952, mass upsurge in 1969 and our Liberation War to pave the path of independent Bangladesh.
