The objective of the ARCASIA Thesis of the Year Awards 2021 (TOY ARCASIA 2021) is to provide an arena for the schools of architecture in ARCASIA member countries and their undergraduate students to display their potentials and fresh ideas in an international platform provided by ARCASIA to heighten and elevate architecture education in Asia. TOY ARCASIA AWARDS is dedicated to fresh ideas in Thesis/Final Project from the final-year students in each country. It opens a route to the knowledge exchange of architectural education. Final year Students' Thesis (undergraduate) from all member countries across the ARCASIA region are invited. The Award details with relevant documents have already been sent to the Heads of IAB accredited Architecture schools for circulation.

The schedule is as follows:

1st April 2021, Thursday: Announcement of TOY ARCASIA Awards 2021

1st August 2021, Sunday: National level Submission (The respective National Institutes of Architects of ARCASIA Member Institutes are required to collect all entries)

1st September 2021, Wednesday: Submission of 03 Finalist from respective National Institutes of Architects to TOY Awards team

1st October 2021, Friday: Result of the winners

31st October 2021, Sunday: Declaration of Results

Each accredited architecture school has been requested to nominate three best thesis/projects from department and send the list of project titles with respective student’s name & student ID to toyawards.iab@gmail.com by 15th July, 2021.

National level submissions of these nominated projects are to be sent through email to toyawards.iab@gmail.com by 1st August, 2021 and the total size must not exceed 20MB.
