10TH BERGER AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN ARCHITECTURE – BAEA 2022 has been launched on 10 August 2022 at a Ceremony and Press Meet held at Patio Hall of Gulshan Club, Dhaka.
This Award, in association with the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) has completed its journey of 20 years with success and pride.
The Launching Ceremony was attended by Members of IAB Executive Council, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, IAB Award Management Committee, Award Directorate, Press and Media along with several Invited Architects and Guests.
Ar, Qazi M Arif, Award Director, BAEA 2022, explained the nomination criteria, eligibility evaluation process and award details for this 10th. cycle. He also announced the 5 member Panel of Jurors and revealed the BAEA permanent trophy designed by Prof. Hamiduzzaman Khan, eminent sculptor of Bangladesh.
Ar. Mubasshar Hussain, President IAB, in his speech, appreciated BERGER for their initiative in acknowledging talents and contribution of Architects of Bangladesh.
Ms. Rupali Chowdhury, MD, Berger Paints Bangladesh LTD. presented the Vote of Thanks and shared her vision of taking the BAEA initiatives further to a global platform in near future.
Mr. Shabbir Ahmed, Head PPEZ, BPBL and Mr. Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, Sr. GM-Marketing & Sales, BPBL also spoke on the occasion.
Nomination Forms shall be sent to All Members of IAB immediately. 30 August 2022 is the deadline to send Nominations for this Award Cycle.
All IAB Members are requested to nominate project/s of choice accordingly.
