The 4th cycle of “KSRM Awards for Future Architects: 2021-2022” has been rolled out on Monday, 12th September 2022. The award is intended to recognize the outstanding design thesis/ final projects of the graduating students of IAB-accredited architecture schools in Bangladesh. The call for entries with relevant documents has been already sent to the respective Department Heads for their nomination of projects.

Introduced in 2019, the award is presented annually to inspire architecture graduates, honor studio teachers and the schools. Combined with exhibitions and publications, the award event has become an important avenue for showcasing exemplary student design ideas. The event is jointly organized by KSRM- leading steel manufacturer OF Bangladesh and the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB). 

Key Dates:  

Call for submission:  Monday, 12th September 2022 

Submission of the list of nominated projects by Department Head: Sunday, 25th September 2022 

Digital copy submission: Sunday, 6th November 2022 

Hard copy submission: Saturday, 12th November 2022, 2pm -8pm 

Jury: Sunday, 13th November 2022 

Exhibition opening: Monday, 14th November 2022 

Award and Exhibition closing: Thursday, 17th November 2022
