IAB President, Dr. Khandaker Shabbir Ahmed, alongside the Presidents of their respective institutes from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the Maldives, participated in the 'ARCASIA Zone A Presidents Meeting' on August 19, 2023, in Male, Maldives.
The meeting was chaired by ARCASIA President, Prof. Dr. Abu Sayeed, and coordinated by Ar. Russell Dandemiya, VP Zone A from Sri Lanka. Following a series of country presentations, in-depth discussions were conducted concerning the challenges and issues pertinent to Zone A.
This constructive dialogue resulted in several crucial executive decisions, including the reinvigoration of SAARCH, fostering of academic exchanges, and promotion of professional development.
Notably, during this event, the Maldives made its inaugural entry into ARCASIA Zone A, expanding the zone's representation to encompass seven countries in total.
