On Sep 30th, the IAB Center hosted an event uniting architects and authors to launch Ar. Prof. Dr. Nizamuddin Ahmed's book, "A Good Architecture Depends on a Good Client."
The evening began with Ar. Mohammad Ali Naqi's warm welcome to our esteemed guest and author. Prof. Muntassir Mamoon and Architect Khadim Ali, contributors to the book, joined us.
Highlights included a discussion on preserving architectural history and lively performances by Prof. Dr. Zebun Nasreen Ahmed and her daughter, accompanied by renowned singer Tanzir Tuhin.
Honored to have Dr. Dipu Moni, our honorable Education Minister, as Chief Guest, who emphasized the importance of architectural literature. IAB President Ar. Prof. Dr. Khandaker Shabbir Ahmed shared an exciting idea – introducing basic architecture at the primary education level. Her enthusiasm for this initiative was palpable, and we're eager to see it come to fruition. She also took a moment to explore the exhibition featuring AGA Khan award-winning Bangladeshi architecture.
As the event ended, Ar. Mohammad Ali Naqi (VP National) thanked everyone for their support.
Thanks for being part of this event, shaping a brighter future for architecture and literature!
