The ARCASIA Committee on Young Architects (ACYA) convened a significant meeting on September 18, 2023, in the picturesque surroundings of Boracay Island, Philippines. The meeting saw the active participation of architects and representatives from across the ARCASIA member countries, with a notable delegation from Bangladesh.
Ar. Dr. Masud Ur Rashid assumed the role of Country Representative for Bangladesh. Accompanying him were two distinguished architects who served as official Observers on behalf of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB). Ar. Shafiul Azam Shamim and Ar. Ahsanul Haque Rubel joined the meeting as the representative of the IAB, emphasizing the institute's dedication to facilitating dialogue, knowledge exchange, and cooperation among young architects. The IAB delegation gave a presentation on "Leadership Skills, Personal Skills, Advocacy Skills, and Mentorship" during the meeting.
