In the recent 7th meeting of the IAB Social Responsibility Committee, a thoughtful discussion took place on how IAB can extend support to the Palestinian people in Gaza. After thorough deliberation, the committee presented detailed recommendations to the EC. The EC later has decided to express solidarity with Palestine by sending two letters to the embassy of the state of Palestine. These letters will inquire about the best ways IAB can provide material assistance and contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza.
Additionally, it was agreed in the meeting to organise a signature collection programme at the IAB centre to demonstrate solidarity with the Palestinian people. This programme will be inaugurated by the President of IAB at 5:00 p.m. on February 10th, 2024. Architects are kindly requested to put their signatures on the 16-foot-long banner, which will be displayed at the IAB center from February 10th to 17th.
