The inauguration of Berger Seminar Hall of IAB Centre and MoU Signing Ceremony for sponsorship of IAB Lecture Series between Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. and Institute of Architects Bangladesh took place on 4 April 2019 at the IAB Centre.
The Berger Seminar Hall was inaugurated jointly by Ms. Rupali Chowdhury, Managing Director, BPBL, Ar. Jalal Ahmed, President, IAB and the honorable Past Presidents of IAB Ar. Shah Alam Zahiruddin, Ar. Shamsul Wares, Ar. Mubasshar Hussain, Ar. Abu Sayeed M Ahmed and Ar. Kazi Golam Nasir.
After inauguration, Ar. Taufique Rahman Khan, Secretary Seminar, IAB, conducted a short session wher the eminent personalities spoke briefly to commemorate the happy occasion.
The MoU for sponsorship of IAB Lecture Series was signed between Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. and Institute of Architects Bangladesh. Mr. Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, Sr. General Manager, BPBL and Ar. Mamnoon Murshed Chowdhury, Vice President - National Affairs, IAB signed on behalf of the respective organisations. Under this MoU, BPBL will sponsor one lecture event per month for the next two years.
At the end of the ceremony, Ar. Jalal Ahmed presented a crest to Ms. Rupali Chowdhury on behalf of IAB as a token of appreciation.
